Juicy Juice
Juicing is a new passion of mine.Well not new in the sense that it is my first time juicing fruits and veggies, but the passion part is new. I have always believed in the healthy benefits of juicing but the clean up, prep, and expense made it easy to put on the back burner. I am rethinking that now. I recently purchased a Breville juicer and I am amazed at how quick and easily it juices and cleans up! Boom! Half the battle won right there. My girls and I have been watching the food adds for sales on produce, and it has been a wonderful opportunity to teach them how to price compare, as well as how to shop for produce. We have had a blast shopping around from store to store, and have enjoyed stopping at a few farmers markets. We as a family have committed to trying to make healthier choices, and juicing fits right into those plans.I would like to share a blog spot with you that i have come across recently . Krisscarr.com. Kris was diagnosed with stage four liver and lung cancer.Kris was not willing to just lay down and die,not willing to give up so she started Dr. shopping. She felt that the answers she was receiving did not make sense.Kris was confused.Someone had given her a book on cancer and how a vegan diet could help,so overnight she became a vegetarian.I have found her story inspirational and educational. I encourage you to give her blog a peek if you are at all interested in a true story with compelling results.Kris is one of New York Times best sellers with her "Crazy Sexy Wellness Revolution".I will be investigating this topic further, and when i find more great stuff I will share it with you. Thank you for stopping by my blog spot.I hope you have a healthy and happy day.

you can tell the passion is there because your committed and have spoken about it in class as well. Keeping your body healthy is important to me and have been looking for new things to try, but not sure how to start this... what started the passion and what made you go back to it?
ReplyDeleteHello Austin! I should have replied forever ago! I apologize...I'm going with better late than never! Originally I started juicing becouse I wanted to lose weight, but the busy and the pain in the butt to clean juicer I had at the time made it easy to push aside. The renewed interest came about when my oldest daughter became very ill.She was having a hard time keeping solid food down and the Doctors were having an even harder time figuring out why.I was growing increasingly concerned as her weight dropped and her health took a nose dive. Juicing just popped back into my head and I talked to my daughter and we decided to give it a go. She responded well to the juicing, able to keep most of it down, and I believe it helped stabilize her her health. Th Doctor's did get around to figuring her situation out.My daughter has a hard time keeping an iron level in her system. When her iron is out of whack...she is out of whack! So that is how the juicing passion came about ,and back for me. Thank you for your interest! I am no authority on the subject, but I'll tell you all I know about starting a juicing regimen if you really want to know.Hit me back sometime! we will chat! Ciao for now

DeleteStephanie--Your blog is coming along nicely. Your writing flows well, and your voice is comfortable and confident. You have a lot of good content, and you are working to make it important and significant to your audience. Good. Keep working on the visual appeal of your blog, which does not only include images and videos, but it also about the formatting and style of your text. You have some decent sized text blocks that some may view as less than appealing. Keep up the good work!
